Hello I’m Larry. I am an award-winning filmmaker based in the Washington DC metro area. Following the completion of my M.A. in Producing Film and Video from American University, I ventured into the world of filmmaking. My journey led me to the Smithsonian Channel, where I took on the duties of producing short-form documentaries for online platforms. Embracing the approach of backpack documentary, I became a self-sufficient production powerhouse, handling everything from conceptualization and scripting to filming, audio recording, and editing – all as an independent operator. However, I'm not only a solo act; I also seamlessly meld into collaborative production teams.

My filmmaking style blends the art of creative storytelling with my technical prowess, resulting in visually captivating imagery that packs an emotional punch.
